The drain inlet is the last-chance opportunity to capture sediment before it flows into the nation’s waterways. It is very difficult to remove sediment from concentrated flows. At the same time it is not feasible to allow the water to back-up on the street. Therefore a balance must be achieved in the design of the inlet protection device.
The system is very easy to clean. It is also highly durable. Its ability to perform for the duration of a long project and its reusability are key benefits.		Curb Inlet Guard has integrated bracketing which prevents the segments from getting pushed into the manhole during high pressure, high flow events.	One size fits all. The system can be overlapped for long drain inlets. If the drain opening is higher than 8 inches, the integrated brackets can be adjusted vertically to provide support against the upper curb lip.
